The Litecoin Foundation announced its partnership with Bibox and Ternio to issue bank crypto-cards through a blog published on June 18.
According to the announcement, partners will launch a Crypto bank card called BlockCard, which allows users to spend cryptocurrency through stores or online.
The service will allow retention of corporate digital currency: Litecoin (LTC) , Bibox (BIX), Ternio (TERN).
The role of the Bibox platform will be to serve as a depository for users’ funds and to benefit from the liquidity flowing within the platform. Ternio will provide a dedicated platform for the new service.
According to the announcement:
“This is an important partnership for us as it helps us achieve the goals of the Litecoin Foundation to create more uses for the LTC in everyday life”
Litecoin joins many of the other companies offering Crypto cards, including the Coinbase platform.
