Boehringer Ingelheim, a German-based company, has unveiled a new partnership with Solve Care to develop a diabetes-based blockchain-based platform.
The partnership aims to design a networkof data-sharing technology called Diabetes Care Administration Network, the press release said .
The new project will be launched on the Solve Care Blockchain, and will contain information about diabetes patients to facilitate co-ordination of care as well as information on diabetes prevention and risks.
Solve Care CEO commented:
“The new network will help bridge the knowledge gap by providing vital information about diabetes and cardiovascular disease in an accessible way”
And he added:
“This is invaluable in the health care ecosystem because it allows patients to better understand the disease and know their care needs”
The new platform is expected to be launched by the end of this year. It will be available to more than 25,000 patients in the first phase of the launch.
